It’s back!
Since our last “Let Your Service Shine!” was so successful, we have decided to do it again!
We are so excited to come together and do good for our community!
All projects need volunteer workers to help set up, staff the various activities, and clean up after.

New Hope Center & A Caring Place are pregnancy help centers that provide free and confidential services to women & men, from pregnancy tests & ultrasounds to counseling and support when they have nowhere else to turn. We will be hosting a “Baby Shower” to collect goods that they can use to support those in need that come to them. The baby shower event will take place at St. Bernadette on Oct. 8th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, but we will be accepting donations of the items below from 11 AM to 3 PM
Wish List:
Gerber Good Start Formula – Gentle, Baby Wash Travel Size, Baby Shampoo Travel Size, Baby Lotion Travel Size, Sleepers – 0-3 mos (both boy and girl), Outfits – 0-3 mos (both boy and girl), Sleep Sacks (all sizes), Baby Bottles, Baby washcloths/towels, Desitin, Pacifiers. Fitted Crib Sheets, Infant toys like rattles, teething rings, etc., Baby nail clippers/nail sets
Join us for a Free Community Lunch from 1 PM to 3 PM (or until food runs out!) in the Cafeteria. This meal is open to anyone pen to anyone who cares to stop in and eat!
We also are in need of volunteers to help pack and distribute individual lunches. Contact Mike Kleshock if you’d like to help.
Our on-site chapter of St. Vincent De Paul will be conducting a special collection on our service day with an emphasis on Personal Care & Cleaning Items. These items will be distributed through their weekly Food Pantry here at St. B that serves our neighbors in need.
Donations will be accepted from 11 AM to 3 PM, and members of SVdP will be available to provide more information about all that they do in our community.

Bar Soap, Shampoo, Toothpaste, Tooth Brushes, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Deodorant, Dish Detergent, Laundry Detergent
We will be collecting encouraging cards and letters for the residents of Provision Living, nursing home & senior living centers, to combat loneliness for the sick & elderly. Visit us on October 9th at St. Bernadette to write a letter from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, or feel free to drop off a card you’ve already written during that time as well. We are hoping to distribute 120 cards to the facility.
We will be showering a previously homeless family with goods as they make their transition into a new home and have nothing to start out. Join the party from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at St. Bernadette on October 8th to hear their story. Donations will be accepted from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
