Eucharistic Saints

A Lenten Talk Series @ Stella Maris

looking at the eucharist with the saints

Every saint loved the Eucharist, but some saints expressed a particular devotion to the Eucharist. This Lenten talk series will peer into the mystery of the Eucharist through the life of a saint and that saint’s devotion. Each talk will be followed by a time for Q & A with the speaker and a wine and cheese reception.

The Carmelite Daughters of Elias strive to live a contemplative-apostolic life in the world while following the Rule of St. Albert (the Carmelite Rule), and live according to the Teresian charism.  They take St. Elias, the Father of all Carmelites as their patron and inspiration.  The Sisters pray the Divine Office, have two hours of mental prayer, as well as work for the spiritual and moral formation of the young. They also work with families and with the poor and homeless.  They have a convent in Over-the-Rhine and are building a second place to live in Bethel, Ohio.
