Financial Stewardship During Quarantine
St. Bernadette Parishioners,
We hope you all are staying healthy in good spirits. Know that we as a staff are praying for you all every day. During these unprecedented times, we are called into community in unprecedented ways. Your contributions to the church and to our ministries are of vital importance to the parish, and we would like to ask you to prayerfully consider how you could continue to offer your support during this difficult time.
The suspension of public Masses, as you can imagine, severely jeopardizes the financial stewardship we rely on that is generated by the Sunday collections, especially the Easter Sunday collection, one of our largest of the year.
So, first and foremost, we want to extend a huge thank you to those of you who have mailed in their envelopes & contributions, and those who have already been contributing electronically.
We’d like to use this as an opportunity to remind you that we do offer an option for electronic giving. It’s as simple as filling out the form, attaching a voided check, mailing or emailing it to us, and we’ll do the rest. Contributions can be taken out on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Even when Masses have returned to their normal cadence, giving online means you don’t have to remember an envelope every week and it eases the burden for our weekly counters!

We certainly understand that this is a difficult time. Job security may be in question, portfolios are taking a hit, and the overall future of our families and society as a whole is uncertain and vague, so please know that this is not a request we take lightly. If you cannot give financially during this time, we would hope that you would keep the parish in your prayers!
